Next appointment in Barcelona
Following the success of the recent presentation in Madrid, Bizkaiko Txakolina will be present at Alimentaria and participate in one of the tastings.
The presence of 4,000 exhibiting companies and 130,000 visitors make Alimentaria (Barcelona, 22-26 March) in the International Exhibition of Food & Beverages Spanish state´s largest and one of the first in the world. An unmissable event in which another edition, will be present the Apellation d'Origine Contrôlée Bizkaiko Txakolina with the clear objective of realizing such an interesting wine showcase to promote the Biscayan Wines.
On this occasion, the presence will be especially active since the organization of the work program Vinorum has chosen the Txakoli of Bizkaia to participate in the tastings. Specifically, it will be the "Atlantic white wines vs Mediterranean white wines" called, that will be held on Monday, day 22, at 12:30. Along with our txakoli, will be Apellation d'Origine Contrôlée Valdeorras (Galicia) who complete the representation of Atlantic white wines. As an example of Mediterranean white ones has been chosen the Apellation Terra Alta (Catalonia) and Alicante.
In addition to the Regulating Council, some of the most important biscayan wineries will come to the festival in Barcelona. Iturrialde, Berroja, Gorrondona, Itsasmendi and Azloa Oxinbaltza is the case.
The presence in Alimentaria is part of the program of activities aimed at opening new markets that the Regulatory Council has been designed for this year and that began with the presentation held on 8th march in Madrid. There, press and professionals has the opportunity to learn in detail the characteristics of our txakolis. An appointment that, both by the massive attendance, and by the very pleasant impression caused wines can only be described as a success.
Success which we hope will see ratified, both in Alimentaria, as in the Gourmet Showroom (Madrid, 12-15 April), which close the program of promotional activities abroad planned for the first half of this year.
