Foccus Bilbao, Food and Gastronomy

An exclusive encounter for professionals of hotel business, restoration and catering.  An appointment gourmet that already has become the reference most innovator.  

The next 5, 6 and 7 of October, the hotel business has an important appointment in the BEC of Barakaldo, where will be celebrated the 2ª Edition of the fair FOCCUS BILBAO.  And the Denomination of Origin Bizkaiko Txakolina will not be alien to it.  For that reason our Txakoli will be present in the area of the Basque Government, so that all those that approach the fair can taste it.  

Another of the activities planned is the Tasting-Combination that October 5 will be organized, in contribution with the Association of Biscayan Cooks "Geugaz Jan".  Four txakolis of this Denomination of Origin will be presented and tasted along with so many more types of pintxos, "creations" exclusive of associated cooks, that will be elaborate from traditional products.

  • "Uixar" txakoli with Antxoa marinated with salad of Idiazabal, by Beñat Ormaetxea
  • "Special Txabarri" txakoli with asparagus wheat with rissotto of mushrooms, by Txomin Gómez
  • "Itsasmendi nº 7" txakoli with sheet of cod, olives and antxoa smoked, by Ricardo Pérez
  • "Artzai" txakoli with Roasted lamb on bread of baguette with gelatin of txakoli, by Joseba Trick
