The bars BARRUKOA and RAMONA, in the category of “bar” and the restaurant ZARATE, in that of “table”, were the winners of the fourth edition of the LABORAL Kutxa Prize to professionalism in the treatment of Txakoli of Biscay.
The Regulatory Council estimates that the 2013 Txakoli of Biscay harvest shall be significantly lower than in previous years due to the particularly bad weather in June. The Council estimates a fall in production of between 20 and 30 percent.

On 26 June the 4th edition of the LABORAL Kutxa Awards, intended to reward the quality work of the hospitality sector with the Txakoli of Biscay were showcased.
Once again, this year the prestigious wine guide the Guía Peñin has visited our headquarters to taste our extensive catalogue of Bizkaiko Txakolina brands.
Based on the favourable reception of last year’s, Bizkaiko Txakolina Festivals will be repeated in Santurtzi (20 April), Bilbao (4 & 5 May) and Getxo (8 June).
